My girls

I saw atechnique on Sewing with Nancy a few months ago and thought I would give it atry. They had a computer program thatwould help you turn photographs into quilts.I downloaded the free trial program and proceeded to make thisquilt.3 days later, I was still tryingto figure out how to use the program and I had wasted about a half a package ofpaper.I finally decided I didn’t needthe program and came up with my own ‘technique’.There were some very helpful hints on thevideo and I do appreciate those but evidently my computer skills arelacking. Also they advised using sprayadhesive to fix the fabrics down.Thatcaused huge problems for me as my juki does not like the stuff and will notplay nicely with it.

These are myfavorite 2 ladies in the whole world.Thequilt is far from perfect but I’m OK with that.

You did an excellent job on your girls. I love both sides of your quilt. Sew, who gets this one? Or, are you going to have to make two more copies for each of your girls. Great ingenuity.
