Absolutely stunning! Have a question about the curved flying geese. Is there a trick to get these to not pucker when adding the sides to the curved pieces? I am a bit of a newbie but have made the curved flying geese to border a dahlia quilt but am not happy with them as they puckered a bit. Any tips or tricks you learned and could share would be greatly appreciated.

Keep up the beautiful work!

I am lucky to have a certified teacher who teaches at a shop close to where I live. This was part of the JM technique of the month program.

how/where did you get the pattern? THis was designed to be used ONLY in JN certified teacher shops and only a couple of other places had them as kits! Judy herself told me that NO distributor nor any uncertified teachers would have this pattern until 2014!

A beautiful rendition of a stunning pattern. I've seen this around here and there as both a pattern and a kit so perhaps she changed her strategy. http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/sto...3&Item_ID=4410 :-D

Keep up the beautiful work!

In the class one tip was to use fabric glue (I used the sewline fabric glue) versus pinning, I used that and a tool called "that Purple thang" to ensure I could smooth out any puckers as I went along.

malega 06-28-2011 03:11 AM
