I found some solids at my local Goodwill store last week. Each piece was 1 or 2 yards. The store had them hanging on pants hangers. I was looking for fabric in bags. I did get the thick facing material in a bag. I use it for my potholders.
I hope I post this right. |
WTG - I never find good stuff like that in the Thrift stores. Sigh

Goood find!! It took me weeks and 3 different Goodwill stores to find fabric, but now I know where to go and I have one other to try out. Will be going to check that one out this weekend.

Nice find!
I think everyone in my area has discovered that they can get fabric at our thrift shops because it has been a while since I found really good deal. I take that back I did find 5 1/2 yards of a pretty purple fabric for $2.65 that will be good for backing. |
You have to keep going back, you never know what you'll find. My mom & I went to 4 or 5 different GW stores while she was visiting, found something different in each one!
Picked up some gorgeous curtain swags and what we think used to be a table scarf that will combine into a very stunning Victorian gown. :) |
Sometimes you score and sometimes come up empty handed. Our DAV is really the best for finding fabrics.
