Speaking of thrift store finds, I just bought a baggie of the 6" metal hem gauges that some have mentioned in our chats. There are 19 of them in the baggie. I payed $2.99. I would share them but I'm pretty sure the postage would be more than the cost of buying one at the store. I also made a major score of 11 sheets and 23 pillowcases, 5 cotton napkins 6 pieces of fabric remnants and a cotton skirt all for $22.00. They gave me a special price for buying so many. I'll try to get a photo of everything tomorrow to show you what I have.

Wow! What a shopping trip! Our Goodwill seems to never have such great finds or I'm not there at the right time!! I'll keep on going though!

This was not at an actual Goodwill store. I agree, they are not so flexible and agreeable with barganing there. I was shopping in another kind of thrift store.

I think I recognize the pattern with the sheep. The one I have, uses wooden spools for the legs. These little guys turn out so very cute!

I only got the african animal print because some of you had talked about wanting that type of material. It's not as sturdy as some of the other sheets, having a bit more of the polyester to it. However, if anyone wants this material, I will send it, you only having to pay the postage. I will ship the least expensive way. It really didn't add much to my total cost.
