My great grandson's quilt.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]526557[/ATTACH]My great grandson wanted to make a quilt for our county fair. He had to do all the sewing himself except the quilting which I could do for him. This is his first one, and I hope not his last.

Wow, that is a wonderful quilt! I LOVE the colors; they will light up any room they are in.

I hope he will make more quilts with you, too. That will create special memories that you and he will carry with you for the rest of your lives!

What a wonderful experience in every way for both of you. I love the end result-a beautiful quilt that is a shared experience and a sleeping boy under it! I also hope the fascination of quilting with Grandma goes on-it not you sewed the seeds of a future quilter.

Terrific colors, beautiful quilt and a very contented DGS. How old is he?

I will have to show this to my 9 y.o. DGS. He sews on my machines but he has not advanced to a quilt yet.
