Looks like the periwinkle star, also goes by the name of tear drops, just 2 names for it. I'm sure there are others out there as well.

I like your hand quilting. I am trying to hand quilt and the front looks OK but the back looks messy. What is the secret?

OOOOOOOOOOh, you're making a pretty quilt that much prettier!.

My problem when I first started is that the back stitches were much smaller than the front. How is the back messy???? There are really good videos out ther to show you how, wish I had them when I started.
