Yup...15lbs! But apparently the quilt she currently uses is even heavier...

My DSM was heard muttering to itself that it was going to go on strike if I didn't quit with the heavy stuff, so I think I'll sew some nice placemats and tablerunners for a bit...

The pattern is my own: my customer sent me links to a bunch of quilts that she saw on the web that appealed to her, and when I had a sense of what she likes I sketched a pattern combining elements from half a dozen sources. She okayed the sketch, and I tweaked it as I went along.

I think that you deserve a medal of honor. Especially when it sunk in that you did it all on a DSM. Now, that is bravery. Results are striking.

Very nice! Love those little helper hands holding up the corners of the quilt!

Oh yes! My goodness what a job the two of you did. Oh, oh, oh!

And the back is as good as the front!

A while back one of the franchised sandwich shops had a baby on its ads. At the end of the ad the little guy looked straight into to the camera and said, "Toasty" and the voice used was very throaty. Well, "TOASTY."

A VERY interesting and different quilt. I like the circles and colors. You're a hero for agreeing to work with such heavy fabric.
