I finally quilted my Irish chain. Is my first attempt at machine quilting and I love how it came out.
I also started 2 tops, one is called Blackfords Wife and the other is Mothers Life. I haven't had much time to work on them lately but those are my two projects. What you think??????

Let me tell you guys I was a mission quilting the queen size Irish on my regular Brother sewing machine. The neck of my machine is very short and narrow so that made my stitches in the middle of my quilt not as straight as they should be.
I did a lot of quilting between Thanksgiving and a week before Christmas but I haven't touched anything since then :( because of the amount of paperwork I needed to enter for my job. Holidays is our busiest time, people seam to need the psychiatrist more during the holidays than at any other time of the year. I'm almost caught up with work so I should be back to quilting soon or I'm going to need an appointment with my own boss

When I looked at "a mother's life" -- it's beautiful in the fabrics you used --I immediately thought of Christmas presents and what a pretty alternative it would be in a light colored Christmas background fabric with big red bows. Must be the time of year.

So pretty - this gave me the encouragement to start an Irish Chain for my granddaughter that will be married this fall. It won't be finished in time for the wedding, but my family is used to this, since we've had a lot of weddings and now births that I'm trying to keep up with. Anyway, thanks for the pics. Very, very pretty.
