Been 2 weeks since I've posted...was gone to the retreat in St. Louis and had a great time. Then trying to play catch up since I got home.

I had full intentions of getting all 4 corners done...then realized there weren't 2 sections per corner there were 4!!! So after doing 8 sections I decided to do just one piece of the remaining 2 so that I could see a corner finished.

I've not worked on it yet since I got home - but I quilted a QOV and brought home a commission one to work on.

Maybe next week I can work on it...OH there are ONLY 88 pieces in EACH corner!!!!

That's fantastic!! You must be thrilled with how it's going, it looks stunning.

I'd be the same, I'd have to do one corner to see how it looks. Gives you the inspiration to keep going. :-)

I bought one of her patterns, but think it is beyond my skill level. Maybe I will be accomplished enough to do it by the time I am 100!

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful. I love this quilt. And, it is so much prettier made up than it is on Judy's book cover. I just love it!

Butterflyspain 06-28-2009 12:39 PM

Beautiful, I love that. She has some stunning quilts.

I have just gone back to doing my Japanese Fans from J Neimeyer.

I knew how to PP before - self taught - then took a class with Judy - THEN I learned how to PP. She has a lot of tips that make it easy! If you ever get the chance to take one - I strongly suggest you do...well worth the money...

I've only been working on this one since April..so that's just under 3 months...not bad wouldn't ya say?

Thanks for all the lovely compliments...I have to admit I do love this one.

barnbum 06-28-2009 02:51 PM
