Very nice! I think when I get my first one done, I will try the one like your top picture. That way it is still easy blocks but a little more complex and still adorable. Your other quilts are awesome also. I want to do more of the baby or lap quilts. I have a cousin who has a baby boutique and once I get good I hope to sell some in her store for the extra cash and the experience. :)

Toni, I think that's called a shaded 9 patch. It's a nine patch pattern of 9 patch blocks. It went together very quickly.

And here's another couple. Can you tell I found the file I had stored some of my quilt pics in? :) :)

This is an I Spy for grandson, lots of fun for him to hunt for stuff.

It's a LeMoyne star in the center, then I just charted the rest of it out on a grid and played with it until I liked it. The niece quilts are mostly a reflections of their moms. Chloe's mom is very quiet and sweet. Keira's mom is pretty flambouyant, but also sweet.

I don't know if it is called anything special. The center is a LeMoyne star. I've seen someone's avatar with the star and the next outer round and I think they called it the carpenter's wheel. I just started with the star and played with the rest until I had something I liked and it was big enough for a baby quilt. :) It's all squares and half square triangles, very easy once you get it charted on paper.
