Then you might want to make sure you make it really clear to them, verbally and in writing, what you DO want them to do with it. Until my father figures out how to do it (and he's convinced he'll figure it out), we can't control others after we're gone!

If I were you (and money is really tight for me, as well), I'd separate out the items I could absolutely not live without from those I could and sell the rest on ebay. That's just how my mind is thinking these days....

Wow - oh - Wow. Congratulations on the find and yet so sad that the sale was for someones possessions of pride that a family member could care less about. I work with a lady who did the exact same thing, sold everything her MIL had and NOW regrets it big time as she's become a quilter too!!! She comments all the time, I could have had that!!!
