No, I didn't finish all my UFOs this year but I'm pretty sure this is the last one I will create this year. At least all my tops are finished. I have quite a challenge ahead of me to get some of them quilted. That's not the fun part for me. I prefer piecing.
This one is a scrappy nine patch or Irish chain, depending on how you look at it, and reminds me of something my grandmother would have made, only hers would have been made from scraps of used clothing and feedsacks, and mine is made of scraps of perfectly good new fabric purchased for the sole purpose of cutting into scraps and sewn back together. |

Don't you just love it when a UFO is finished? It is like a big heap is taken off your back. This one should be fun to quilt too lots of possibilities for it.
