my latest (almost) finish--get your sunglasses!

I've been saving strings since I started quilting 7 yrs ago. when i couldn't get to my Accuquilt because of the overflowing bags, I sorted them into brights, darks, lights and neutrals. I had a ton of black and this wild circle backing from my oops on the Display Challenge quilt for the KC Regional Quilt Fest. This is the result--I used Marathon Thread #50 trilobal gold for wild feathers in the brights and SoFine #50 black for Welsh border ruler work in the black. Now to get the binding on. this goes on my bed even though the DH is saying it's too bright to sleep (like that would stop him!)

Fantastic! Love the strings, the black, and your quilting!!! And, the backing is dazzling! Flip that baby over and show that fabic on your bed! Your hubby will see spots until he falls asleep! Really, I love your backing fabric. So proud of you for not cutting it up into smaller pieces.
