My latest creation, a very recent finish!

Hi, just finished this a couple of days ago! I love playing with Drunkards Path blocks, these finish at 3.5in. Started with a charm pack & fq bundle I found at Joanns awhile back, then decided to add a few batiks & blenders to the mix. I like how it turned out! Am thinking of adding just a real narrow, darker border later, when I get to that point. But for now, the top is done, yeah!...

Drunkard's Path is one of my favorite patterns also. Personally, I wouldn't add a border. I would use the darker grape color as binding--it will appear as a tiny border and not detract from the design of the quilt. You have a beautiful quilt-I love the colors.

Thank you all, & yes, thinking tiny edge, I actually have some really pretty dark green, kind of teal, that I think will look great around the edge! Thanks everyone, nice to share our love of quilting in photos too!..

different from everyone else, but hey I liked it better, worked for me. Did you put circles on by applique? |

I used some real light interfacing, sew a layer of that, & one of fabric, right sides together, then clipped the center of the interfacing, turned it all right side out, Then trimmed the interfacing center away, & machine appliqued it, with clear thread to the background block... I like how the circles added to the dp blocks! Thanks for all your lovely comments!... |
