I had a hard time doing the embroidered blocks since they had a heavy stabilizer left in them, and my monofilament thread kept breaking. It also dulled the needle, which meant shredded variegated thread off and on. All in all, I think it turned out pretty well and the customer was very happy with it. The only drawback - she has another identical one that she wants me to do!

Beautiful! What stabilizer did you use? When I'm doing quilt panels I usually use tear away and then quilt around the design in thread that matches the fabric. Your customer will be very happy! Thanks for sharing.
