Susan, I fuse the bigger parts ( donkey and trees) but glue the rest with glue sticks then stipple over top. PS if you are fusing you are appliquing ;)>. YOU CAN YOU CAN !!

Could you show some of the fabrics you start out with whole and uncut to see what you start out with? It would gie us an idea of what to start looking for.

nancy did you look at the close up of the donkeys? It would take some time to dig out the fabrics.. but some had flowers on, the rocks is just rock fabric, the trees can be any green, small designs on fabrics work well for almost anything... you just have to play with it. I am planning on doing another and making a tutorial since so many are interested. I am working today on my pet adoption column and my photo gallery so it won't be for a few days.

I'd say has to be about 3 inches max ?

I just saw how this was done on "Sewing with Nancy". It looks lots of fun and it came out beautiful.
