Love it! Is it "real clothes" for kids? I seen a quilt that they used baby clothes that was used for memories.

That is an awesome idea but they're not. They're just cut outs that I appliqued onto a foundation piece.

Fun interpretation of a very cute quilt- My sister in law made one of these for my son when he was born in 1975, and I still have it- he's 33. (I'm hoping to give it back to him when he has a baby---come on kid!) Are you doing the pillow also- the little sunshine pillow? I can't find ours:( Have fun finishing it up!

I was thinking about it but not sure yet. I bought the last of the blue foundation fabric at the store and when I got home, my dh brought me some fried eggs (completely forgetting the 'no food except candy' rule for my sewing room) and soiled a large chunk of fabric when the eggs spilled. So, I'm going to wait and see how much of the blue I have left after I do the borders, backing and binding. That's so neat that you've seen this pattern! I've searched online to show someone else and couldn't find it but it was an older pattern.

Thanks! I saw a pic on an old, nearly ruined pattern so I've had to readjust a few things and definitely update the fabrics, lol. But it was so much fun that I'm going to make another right away for another baby due anytime now. And I still need to update the pic with the borders and binding done.
