I have thought of using fleece scraps I have to make a quilt - what sort of seam allowance did you use? Did you use batting, too, or just the fleece? Did you tie it? Tell me everything, I have to know! :)

Wow! Makes me want to cuddle up in it right now!! Never would have thought to use fleece squares for a backing - never cease to be amazed at the great ideas everyone has. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

I love scrappy quilts they are a throwback to " use it up" I call them GREEN quilts. They have a charm all of their own. Good Job.

I'm no good at batting and all that fancy stitching you gals do, SO I do what I CAN do. I just put fleece or flaanel on my backs. I sew all around leaving opening. Turn rightside out, and do a fancy stitch all around (after stitching opening closed) I tie my quilts. For me its just easier. As for a seam allowance? I just use my reg pressure foot and sew with the edge of it to edge of fabric. That was I believe my 9th or so quilt? The kids says its real warm and cuddly . Fleece holds in the heat.

I can't afford batting so I just used up what fleece I had and many friends send me there scraps, so hey it works....
