Lone stars are kind of hard to do, but I used a printed interfacing from quiltsmart.com I think I started this quilt in the early part of July, but not real sure. I took my time with the star ponts because I was waiting til payday to get the rest of the fabrics and such to finsh it with. Then I work ptretty on it all the time. I read an article some where and it said that few peopple have conguored the lone star pattern. You have them "y" seams to deal with and with the printed interfacing you don'e have that. Not to mention piecing all them little diamonds. I think I know why I did not get an 8 pointed star on the last quilt that I was working on is because they have to be cut at a 45 degree angle and I cut mine at a 60 degree angle and there for I got 6 points rather than the 8 it usually is. It is tricky pieceing those little diamonds as the measurments have to be precise. So it can be a hard quilt to od. If I make another one, I'm going to use the printed interfacing as it is much easier and more fun to do. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
