My longarm is home so I've been practicing

When my longarm arrived home, the wire on the lazer light was broken. So, Nolting shipped me out a new one. Well, in the mean time, I decided to practice my free motion quilting. Which is something I'm not very good at. Here is a baby panel that I did some practicing on. Tell me what you think. Be honest. I'm a big girl and learn from criticism.

I think it looks great. You are definitely being too hard on yourself. You're off to a great start!

I love your quilting! There are a few places that aren't perfect, but that will fade away with practice. I suspect that you are still learning to control your speed. I have found curves to be much smoother if I go a bit faster rather than slower. It's easier to make smooth curves if the machine has some inertia pushing it along. I think you are well on your way to some fantastic custom work.

It looks very good and the main thing is you are getting in there and practicing. Everything will become easier as time moves along and you gain confidence.
