Just needs a solids black border...anything else will distract the eye from your center focus.

OMHO, I'd do a 3"-4" black border & bind it in black. That would frame it, without distract from the rest of the quilt. I think as the edges of the quilt changes planes(go over the edge of the bed,from horizontal to vertical)our eyes perceive the difference and too much will be ...too much.But, that's just an opinion, it is beautiful whatever you choose to do. :thumbup:

I like this idea, I think adding a bright pipping, between the black border and binding would really give it some additional punch! Your quilt is great - can't wait to see it when you are done! |
