I wondered why so many enjoyed making miniatures and now I know! :-) Yep! I'm hooked and plan on making some others for Christmas gifts. This one is made from the fabric Grandma gave me so I'm going to have it framed and hang it in my sewing room. That way when I'm in there working on a project Grandma will be making sure I do everything right. ;-) Lily, my supervisor, fell asleep on the job and and I now have pictures to prove it. LOL!!

What a precious mini! And to have fabric from your G'ma makes it even more so. What size are your squares?
I make lots of miniatures and usually come up with patterns on my own. I was first inspired with the Minature Quilts magazine years ago but it's no longer in print. Some sources for larger patterns 1. The "Little Quilts" ladies from Marietta, GA have several publications. http://www.littlequilts.com/ 2. Lori Smith--http://www.frommyhearttoyourhands.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi 3. Kathleen Tracy--http://www.countrylanequilts.com/ 4. Darlene Zimmerman--http://www.feedsacklady.com/ To add this to the miniature section you can click on the far right tab (Add to Topic List)and follow instructions from there. |
