Love your sewing room. Am particularly interested in your thread cupboard. Can you tell me where you got it. Love the fact that there is a railing to keep the spools from falling off.

OK, here's what the "thread cabinet" is all about. Neal (my hubby) took an old bookcase (I thought of the idea), got some dowels (from WalMart), drilled holes in the sides of the bookcase to hold the dowels and put one dowel in the middle of each shelf of the bookcase then cut it to fit, use some wood glue to attach and hold the dowel. We bought some plexi-glass to make a door for the front. He attached the glass using brackets so it would open and close, then we put a magnetic closure on the front, I used a large sewing machine button as a handle to cover the magnetic closure. That's it!!!
