That's gorgeous. The shape of the neckties makes such a cool pattern. I also like the pug in the corner

what a treasure, I love the idea of the necktie quilt. I lost my father in August and I would love to have a quilt with his ties.

Thanks so much for sharing the Necktie quilt. My aunt gave me my grandpas and her husband, my uncles ties to make a quilt but I wasn't sure how to. Your quilts are great!

I've been collecting ties for quite awhile and the ones you showed are the most beautiful I have seen. I love how she did those. Now, I am excited to make one too. Thanks so much for showing the whole thing!!!

thank you so much ....im glad you got use of it my first hubby died 4 years ago and it was hard some day I will post his shirt quilt .... it is fantastic to snuggle into .... my present sweetie is wonderful to not complain ... he is a keeper hubby too

It's absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing these pics. A man from church gave me two trash bags full of ties but I didn't have the slightest idea how to start a quilt. Now maybe I'll be able to put your pics to good use along with the ties.

Hi, was wondering how your mom pieced the ties-did she remove the lining of the tie? sewed onto muslin with or without the tie lining? Also what does the back of her quilt look like? Material used for backing? Boy, do I have alot of questions! Appreciate your input.

ohhh i love it....been working on mine for a while.....i have boxes and boxes of ties....it will take a while and only hope it will be half as nice as your moms!!

I have been looking at things to do with ties and found your quilt. Don't know how I missed it the first time around. It is really beautiful. Hope I can make one a pretty, although mine will be all machine work.

good luck Pollyv9 momma took her neck ties all apart and all were hand washed and ironed .... if you have any with pictures in the center alot of 70's ones did great focal points ...... have fun working on your project
