I gave this to my mother this past feb. for her 88th BD. All the leaves represent her children and spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
The large corner leaves say wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother |

Thanks a bunch all. I forgot to say that in the center is my fathers BD on the left, my mothers BD on the right, and the date of their wedding in the center.

I'm glad so many are enjoying this and maybe inspired to do one of their own. All the grands are so excited that their name is on this quilt.
The triple sashing between the greens has a small 9 patch at the corners, using the fabric in the triple sash. I diferentiated the boy/girl leaves at all levels by color. Thanks again to all |
