My Nana duties are complete

I have been in California for a month babysitting my new granddaughter each weekday (4 months old) while my DIL finished up her student teaching and my son was training on helicopters for CalFire. I confiscated my mother’s old Singer that had not been used in more than 20 years and had it tuned up on my arrival in April. I brought a few scraps with me to have something to do and also visited a LQS for the Warm Wishes quilt. I also fused some of my mother’s T-shirt’s for a quilt due in October for her 75th birthday. Time to go back to Maine...I’m going to miss this little peanut.

Your quilts are beautiful. I especially like the first one. That baby is absolutely beautiful-bet it was a sad day when you had to leave.
