My neighbor is pregnant... almost 100% it's a girl. If it's a boy I guess I get to make another one with more blues!!

you should have wait to bind it and add blue right after the pink.........thats really pretty
:D

Very cute! My parents "expected" a boy 6 times and all they had was daughters. It was sad how much blue stuff went unused. If you want to keep it safe, stay with lavender/green/yellows.

Awww, that is so cute! Brings back memories, I did my nursery for my kids in Winnie the Pooh. It's beautiful! :) Good job! :)

Ruth, I know for sure one is a boy the other I don't know but I have enough fabric for either. You know how it is with fabric. You want to take all of it home.

Thanks so much for all the comments! I really had fun with this one. It was my first attempt at machine quilting.

Looks like you did a great job at quilting it. I'll have to try that too if I could only sew straight.

Thanks! There was quite a bit of waste of the pooh fabric due to the way the characters were on the fabric, but it worked!

lisae 03-30-2008 08:00 PM

This is adorable. I love your use of color to enhance Pooh. I'm going to be making my first baby quilt this summer. Yours will be my inspiration.
Thanks for sharing.
