Just picked up this little cutie today. The grandkids had to twist my arm to take him.
He has been an outdoor/front porch kitty so has a few fleas. Hopefully the flea collar will take care of that. In the meantime the poor guy is being held prisoner in the laundry room for a few days. That's where I keep the food and the litter box ...so he will learn to like the room.
The kids named him scaredy cat because they said he was afraid of everything.

I love yellow stripe cats. If I lived close I'd have to steal him or maybe borrow him:)

Sweet kitty! I used to have those same throw rugs, LOL!

What a sweetie!!! I love an orange and white kitty!!

Hattie Frances 08-16-2011 05:26 PM

He is such a beauty. Yea I thought I could keep mine in the laundry room also it won't work, you'll look into those beautiful eyes and pretty soon he will rule the house. I don't know about your Vet but I use to get this treatment for fleas called "Revolution". You put it on the back of the neck and there will be no fleas at all. Congratulations on your new Quilt Inspector.

what a beautiful baby. Have had many cats over the years. Presently a Himalayan lives with us.

Kappy 08-16-2011 06:08 PM

He doesn't look to "scared" to me. He'll soon be ruler of all he surveys!

Becca Bear 08-16-2011 06:16 PM

He is so cute! Glad he got a good home and you will be repaid with his love!

Threadedneedle 08-16-2011 06:20 PM

Talk to your vet, they can give him a pill that will kill fleas in 24 hours or less, then use the monthly treatments. You will all be happier!!!!

Beautiful inspector. Glad he has a good home.

SewhappySue 08-16-2011 11:09 PM

Im a great lover of cats and my Ben is now 16, sadly though not been too well these last few months with fluid building on his heart so I count each day...but not without getting upset.
So glad you have a new companion to bless your home with love.

He is so pretty!!! I don'think I've ever seen a cat with that coloring....

RkayD 08-17-2011 04:09 AM

What a cutie!

meemersmom 08-17-2011 04:20 AM

He's a beauty! And, looks to me the only thing he's afraid of is that you'll stop scratching his chin!!

jrhboxers 08-17-2011 05:55 AM

You need to get a flea killer/repellant. A flea collar will keep the fleas from getting on him, but will do nothing for the ones already on him and the eggs that have been laid. Frontline or Advantage will kill the bugs and the eggs. With the collar, you are just chasing them off of him and on to you and the area.

Beautiful - or should I say HANDSOME - boy. Thank you for bringing him in and loving him. From the pictures, he is happy already. He will never forget what you have done for him and will pay you back daily.

Jammin' Jane 08-17-2011 07:46 AM

He doesn't look too scared in the second picture. What a pretty kitty.

amma 08-17-2011 04:16 PM

Awww :D:D:D

ibeesewin 08-17-2011 05:25 PM

Ya...he sure doesn't appear to be a scaredy cat to me either. He is so lovable. I have had many cats through the years and I don't ever remember having one with this personality. He is going to be such good company!
I am thoroughly enjoying him and can't wait to give him his getting of jail free card. Hopefully that will be tomorrow after his flea bath...the vet also said they will give him revolution. I will use that for a month and probably switch to program after that since the chemicals are the safest. Well...I don't actually know if it is actually considered a chemical from what I have researched it is an insect growth inhibitor.

Jingle 08-17-2011 05:45 PM

Very pretty. I have a 15 YO black, gray, white and off white feral (wild) cat I named Scaredy Cat because he too is afraid of everything. He gets use to people faster now that he is older, always has a scared look on his face, he has big eyes and that helps with the look.

Jingle 08-17-2011 05:52 PM

Forgot the Frontline for cats you get from a Vet. will take care of the fleas in 24 hours or so. The rest is a waste of time.
