It is extremely easy to assemble. My hubby is now bolting it to the table I bought for it. very exciting

I have one of these and it is working out good for me. I mostly just do small quilts tho and i rigged up some side tension things with velcro. If you come up with a better way of keeping tension on the sides can you post it please.

Looks like alot of fun! Glad you explained that bit about getting the table especially for it....hated to think your DH was bolting it to your dinner table (although truth be told...wonder how many people actually do a sit down dinner these days? )

dolores 12-27-2010 05:24 PM

I've been seriously looking at that set up. I'll really be interested to hear what you think about it when you've used it!

www.easyquilter.com is the place we got it from. They also go to quilt shows. That's where I discovered it in the first place.

Well, my first day using it has been wonderful. It takes time to "hoop" the quilt, but once that is done, it flies. I've been using 2" binder clips instead of the clamps they provide - the binder clips seem to grip better and more tightly. It's hard to get the quilt tight in the back of the area you're working on - the part in the arm of the machine. Other than that, it works like a dream.

hope you have lots of fun

I was wondering if you are still happy with this and still using it? What version do you have?
