Very pretty. I painted the walls in a previous kitchen a lobster color. It was great.

I love that red wall and your OBW. They are both really, really pretty.

KSue 03-29-2011 06:58 PM

Very nice. My sewing room walls are 1/2 red.

I love the red wall! And everything in the room. I painted one wall of our entry (rented house!) years ago, and I remember it with great joy. I think it said 'Welcome - you're going to have fun in this house!'

Lilrain 03-29-2011 09:00 PM

very nice, looks professionally decorated

I love the red wall (I have a PURPLE one with red leather L-shaped sofa so I LOVE red and purple)!! The One Block Wonder on the wall is not too shabby either!! BEAUTIFUL!

auntiehenno 03-29-2011 09:57 PM

I am in love. What an inspiring room!

WOW! That wall really pops! I've been thinking of doing one in my bedroom, but am still a little unsure.

That is so amazing!!!!!! Im very intrigued with how the OBW accents the red wall. I'm the kind of person who wants the dramatic colors in a room but am scared to do it because "what if I screw it up and have to repaint". I've also thought about purchasing the color of fabric that I want and do the "wallpaper" thing with it. That way if it looks awful I can pull it down, wash it and put it in my stash.

I like the way you think! Always have a backup plan! I hesitated to do the red wall...It is not easy to repaint over red, but hey...I can do it if I get tired of the red...

I commented when you first showed us the red quilted chair that I liked the OBW on the wall, and so I'm glad you showed a full view of it. It's beautiful.

peabee 03-30-2011 04:22 PM

This is absolutely beautiful!!! I dearly love your red wall. And I don't like going into Target because of all the red. And to be honest, I've been kinda disinterested in stack 'n whack quilts, but this one is ideal. I bow to your skills in putting it all together.

Stunning, Powerful, the perfect place to read ... what book are you reading?

That is such a warm and inviting area - beautiful! I have to say that I LOVE the way you did your OBW quilt! The border treatment is so unusual and it looks amazing!

I am usually a blue person, but I love it. How could you possibly feel down in that room....a real pepper upper.

kwilter 01-07-2012 11:54 AM

Boy, I could move right in and get comfy!:) Red is my very favorite color: a red/white kitchen & bedroom; white, gold & red dining room and living room. Red energizes me but keeps me sane at the same time. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing.

littlesurfer 01-07-2012 12:13 PM

Lorraine Simon 01-07-2012 12:47 PM

Red is not my favorite color...but I must say this works great. I love it and the table and decor you set out.
