My New Ruler Holder

3 Attachment(s)
I found a pic of a ruler holder on this board that someone posted the link for. Showed it to my son in law . He made me the exact same one, and did a great job. It has slots on the top to hold rulers , door lets down to store thread and cup hooks will be attached to the bottom to hold scissors . Now I just need to hang it up. LOL

Wow! Very nice! Will be really useful. Neat that he is talented and willing to make things like this for you. :)

As quilter's we know how much thought and talent this took to make. Wow, he sure has talent to spare. What a nice one. I use a multi level and multi slotted in and out letter holder for my rulers. It works great but sure doesn't look like this.

I agree. That SIL is a keeper. Hope your daughter realize it. Handy men are hard to find, talented ones are almost non-existent!!

Looks very nice. I need to show this to dear hubby. I like the little door and shelf space- a good place to store your rotary cutter a well as scissors, or small rulers. I have my small and speciality rulers stored in a plastic container, and sometimes forget where I put the container, imagine that lol.

If your daughter and son-in-law get divorced, be sure to warn her you get him when things are divided. My parents did that - they kept my ex (he was their mechanic) LOL They still love me, but they charm him, need him.

LoriMcc 04-09-2015 05:06 AM

Very nice!

Caswews 04-09-2015 06:36 AM

Very nice .. I have mine hanging on a pegboard hook in my sewing room..

roserips 04-09-2015 08:57 AM

That is beautiful and they are so practical yours is awesome since you can hang it on the wall and then there is the flip down drawer. Hmmm I think I need one of those since my rulers keep falling off the peg board.

caspharm 04-09-2015 09:19 AM

It looks wonderful.
