Hi All!
I finally assembled the sewing table I bought for my new Juki! It's great so far. So far, it's great! All I need to do is velcro the gas pedal to the foot bar. The table is height-adjustable so even a short-stack like me can use it comfortably! |
Congrats on the new table. Looks like a great table!!!

NICE!!!

I really like it! Looks like it will be comfortable to sit and sew!

Great looking table!!!

Super table. Hope you are going to enjoy the shop hop this coming weekend!
|
The body of the machine sits down in there really nice! That makes for easy movement for your freemotion quilting! But, you knew that of course. How nice!

Nice table. Congrats on it. Enjoy.

Thanks, Everyone!
This is a Sew Perfect Table www.sewperfecttables.com/ Tony, the owner, is a doll! The table has a lot of really neat features. This one was made specifically for the JukiTL98 series which is also the Janome 1600 or 6600 (I forgot the number). I originally bought a table from them for my old machine (Husqvarna Prelude) and with all of the hoopla and such, I decided to upgrade machines, so I needed the different table. For most machines, you get the table and then you buy separately the insert that fits perfectly right around the machine.... It has solid construction, too. This is really the first time that it felt good to be at the machine ergonomically. I'll probably continue to get up and take breaks, but it'll feel good between the breaks too! I'm looking forward to much time spent behind that thing!!! (thanks for indulging me!) |
Lucky you!!! I hope it works well for you!

Great table! I'm getting the Janome 6600 in a few weeks when we've saved the pennies! Maybe I'll have to get one of those too - you say you can work even longer - heavenly!!!

Indulging is what we're here for! Great looking table

That's one nice table!!! Many, many,...many years ago my mom had a commercial machine she did canvas work with. It looks very much like the table that went with it! You should get alot of use out if it. The adjustable height..that's a back saver!! Lucky you

great table :D
|
It looks great and comfortable!
The only thing missing are lots of cut threads, pieces of fabric and you sitting there and sewing..... Have fun   (I've gotten to the point where I feel sorry for people who DON'T quilt! What fun would that be? :!: Just a thought, I digress) |
  I love it
|
Nice table. Don't you just love your Juki.
|
I could not be more pleased with the Juki.
I know I've only had it about a month, but I've gotta say, this is the best sewing machine I've ever used! It's so smooth & precise! I'm looking forward to a very long relationship with it!!!!! (even tho, at the quilt expo this weekend, I drooled over a gammill and a husqvarna on the inspira with the qbot!) |
Nice work station and glad you like your new machine.
|
i like it
|
I love my Juki!!! That is a great industrial Table for the machine!!! Enjoy your machine.

I worked at a clothing factory, and in order to enlarge the sewing area (especially helpful for quilting large items as quilts and keeping sewing supplies close) ... the factory took 3/4" plywood width of the table x two feet or more, attached 1x4 or 1x6 border around three sides, making sure that the 1 bys extended along the depth of your sewing table (or depth - - front to back). The "arms" were screwed into the table. Then, underneath, to stablilize the addtional "table" 1 bys on each side, extending over the table and addition. (Just thought you might appreciate the extra working space) Another suggestion I learned a few years back had to do with placing your sewing machine in a corner of the room, so that you face the wall, the extension is against the wall to your left, thus using the wall to help you control the quilt.
Congratulations on your new table, it is a DANDY! |
