Hey all. I spoke about this yesterday. I got a sewing table for my birthday...it's a used Horn table that I got for a total deal. It folds up to about 42 inches long, but I don't plan to fold it up very often. I got to move out the dining room table, so now the room is mine to take over!! I'm so excited...a real sewing room is starting to take shape!

Congratulations!! It will make such a difference to have a space for yourself. I went several years not sewing because the only space I had was a corner in the livingroom. I can't sew without making a mess and cleaning up everything each time I sewed kept me from ever wanting to messs it up. My kids have all grown up and live elsewhere, so now I have my own space. Yay!! I still have to share it with a bed (the room doubles as a guest room) so I can't have a design wall, but otherwise it is sooo nice. You will love it!!

Hey, very nice! I have a Horn cabinet very similar except my drawer section on the right does not pull out like that. I am envious! Seriously, you will really enjoy it...I am very happy for you!

What a wonderful birthday pressie! Woohoo! :-D

I've just been showing your table to Hans for when we get the attic converted - now he has to make me something similar! So thanks for that!
