Its a model 27 but I think it is newer than what I said it was. Are you sure there is not a letter in front of the numbers?

The machine is beautiful.

I'm really intrigued by the boxes.
Do they roll up? (It looks like a early version of the RollyPolly thing from the 1990's.)
How do they close?

1892! That is more like it :D

The accessory boxes are known as puzzle boxes and they do roll up. Really neat piece of engineering in itself!

You can find them on Goodwill.com and a few other sites but be prepared to pay $15 - $30 depending on the condition of them. And thats without the accessories.
