My husband took my old treadle and fixed it up for me. The top was dried out and cracked and misshaped. The machine was rusted. He made a new top and had sewing machine painted and now it sews like a charm.

does this machine tuck under the table?

momto5 10-10-2011 03:42 PM

Beautiful! I need to do the same thing to my old treadle...kept saying I'd do it when the weather cooled off a bit...guess I'd better get busy!

TeresaT 10-11-2011 10:09 AM

It does not tuck under table. Since I use it and never put it up I told my husband to make it permanently up.
