I am pretty sure you are not going to like this, let me give you my address....hehehe. It is beautiful and the colors are wonderful. Would have never thought to put them together, but the fabric designer knew what they were doing. Let us see it when it is finished

Are you going to put in some hollow cubes also? That would really add even more punch to those rich colors. IMHO. |
Can't wait to see this one completed!
|
WOW! Very beautiful.
|
looks like fun to me, you did great.
|
Beautiful Love the colors
|
Looking Good! Keep us posted as your complete your quilt. Thanks for sharing.

The instructions for the cubes are in the second book - One Block Wonders Encore! by Maxine Rosenthal. I agree that these would really enhance this as the blocks aren't throwing up a lot of variation as the print is smaller than your strips so not really being cut into. Alternatively, you could adapt to stack n whack and put in solid setting triangles to frame the individual blocks which are beautiful.
Also, have you sewn full hexes? It's hard to tell from the photo... Which book are you working form? Lovely colours though! |
Wow, the blocks look better than the original fabric.
Good job. |
If you haven't cut all your strips yet, try moving them a little to offset so the hexes won't all be the same. That way you'll get some different color combos.
