My One-Block Wonder

2 Attachment(s)
Fairly new to quilting, I just discovered this fabulous book. For my lap quilt (it's about 55" x 80") I used an Oriental fabric, a piece of which is on the back. I am also calling it my One-Week Wonder Quilt, because I bought the fabric on a Tuesday afternoon and sewed the binding on in front of the TV on the following Monday. Couldn't stop sewing the triangles together to see what emerged! The colors of the fabric are more true in the bottom photo than in the top one -- I had to resize the pix of the front of the quilt, maybe reducing the number of pixels reduced the true colors of the quilt.

Wow! I'm always impressed by what people come up with when doing One Block Wonders. Very nice.

I have my triangle sewed together, now have to play with a layout...hope it looks as nice as yours

Keep up the GR8 work this is lovely front and back. I really like it when quilters save some of the fabric for the back so we can see what the blocks are made from.

I have my fabric selected for a OBW. This inspires me to start working on it! Great job, and LOVE that idea for the borders! Kudos!

You're hooked now on OBW's aren't you? Yours turned out beautiful! They are so fun to see the different patterns appear and you can play with each set of triangles for 3 totally different looks. It's like magic!
