Here it is - It did not go together quite as easy as they make it sound, but after much ripping and re-sewing it's done.

Only hard when you don't get every seam perfect the first time!

Beautiful! Those cubes are really stunning! And yes, I agree, piecing the cubes can be tricky but you've done a great job!

I'm adding this to the Virtual Section on OBWs. :-D

No. It is just a take on a hexagon.

Looks pretty. I doubt I would ever try it.

Wow those cubes are great. That must have been some job to do. Love the design and colors.

peel 02-05-2010 03:36 PM

do all the OBW books include how to make the cubes, or is there one in particular. My guess One Block Wonder Cubed includes cubes but do the others.
thanks

The cube instructions are in 'One Block Wonders Encore', already available. The 'Cubed' book is out in April - can't wait! But here's a link that might interest you http://books.google.fr/books?id=btQ0...onders&f=false

Thanks K3n,
I going to have to find that book. I'll try library, but I think this is one I have to own.

Wow, this looks really hard. You did an amazing job!

winipb2 04-09-2010 12:49 PM

The hard part is getting up the nerve! I can tell you that the best Tute I have found and I have the official books is the tute from cutebuns on this Quilting Board.
Jump in and and go for it.

Great job Marjpf!! The cubes really stand out.

I'm on the hunt for more fabric, I have to make another one, they are addictive lol.

Can't wait to see that dragon fabric one finished, it's looking great so far
