Well now! You have some of hanging our heads in shame!
Well for a little while anyway. Good for you. I still use the tub method and label the outside. Some how the lids seem to never fit after I have rooted around in the tub.
Or fresh air and light cause the fabrics to clone and grow.

This is my same process too! WDF (wash, dry, fold) everything first. Can't sew until I'm organized. Love it that way best! You did great on your shopping spree and now you're all ready to dig in and create!! WTG, jingleberry!! You're a 5-star quilter!!! :D :D :D

Looks great! I wish I had shelves to store my fabric. I'm tired of picking thru bins!

I have a hint for washing/drying large amounts of fabric. Keep folded in half like on the bolt, fan fold the entire length into a manageable size, I use one yard or so. Then using large safety pins, pin several times at the selvege edge thru all layers. It can go thru the washer and dryer this way. Much easier to handle as it comes out folded as nicely as it went in. :)

Now I need to take out and put like colors together. I didn't take time to do that Sunday evening. I really need to get moving and start making it up.

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful compliments.

I will retire in June, bought it all while I was still making money. After retirement I won't have so much money to spend.
