this is my color style. i worked on this at the same time as the other. in this one i tried to go 'art nuveau', in the sashing corners. even though it looks curved, it's really very straight and flat. the pattern part is 60 x 80. long drop for a high bed.

as you can see, i like bold color.

EDIT: i just saw it and it looks all washed out. in real life it glows. the darkest colors are the truest. even a little deeper. the yellow is sunflower.

BF: The yellows and greens get me every time! My mantra now is NO MORE yellows and greens. My stash is a nightmare! Must buy blue, must buy blue! In my favorite quilt shop, the owner knows to gently take me by the arm and steer me towards some nice blues....

actually, i do like blues....but only with greens. :mrgreen:

A big YES in color choices broadening! The older pieces in my stash are all medium pinks and blues. No bold anything, but now, Bold and Bright! And I love the big bright posies I see now, with black backgrounds, and......

I think you get the picture! And I have lots of green, and purple and yellow, and orange! I really must stop! :?

yes, not only has my taste in colors widened, my taste for block patterns has too. I used to think I didn't care for flying geese and triangles. Not the doing, but the look. I really like them now.
