FYI I just finished making 200 1.5" 9P's with 1" squares and strips. I don't cut the strips--they are the last trimmings from quilt backs or just plain trims. I'm anxious to see how big my quilt will be when I get the 1" bin empty:D But I think it takes almost as long to make a 9P with 1" as it does 1 1/2 so half the quilt for the same amount of time.

I don't keep the 1" strips--they get sewn into cash register tape strips....but I think yours will look amazing!

A woman after my own heart. I have loved making 1" square quilts since I first started quilting 15 years ago. My quilt guild friends think I'm insane, but I get real satisfaction from each project. They call me the Queen of Scraps at my guild and there are several members who save scraps for me. Looks to me that you've done a wonderful job.
