Janice asked if I could send a larger picture of my quilt.
It is about 32 x 40 and hangs over my bed. I made it several years ago when I made a series of 9 patch colorwash quilts.
The quilt with the red flowers is another one from the series and it is 47 by 66. It hangs above my couch.
Both quilts are my own design.

Very nice wall hangings. Your flower one almost looks like you painted it - reminds me of one of my Mom's water colors.

Your patience astounds me. I like big squares, and am not too crazy for applique. Nice job!

Wow is such an understatement. Its obvious you dont mind using small pieces either! The first one is stunning. Do you paint? your eye for color is very in touch with reality. Thank you for sharing such lovely works of art with us.

Did you use a fusable grid when you made the wall hanging? My SQA gave me a pattern and the fusable grid stuff. Hope mine comes out as good as yours. Your quilts are beautiful.

JanetM 03-21-2010 07:42 PM

Wow, these are beautiful. Not only are you a good quilter but also a designer! Pat yourself on the back :-D :-D :-D
