oh wow it is way to cute I make christining gowns and 1st communion dresses I also make my own lace hairpin, battenberg and irish or scottish lace which is the same my nana and my memaw started me making lace at about 6or7 yrs ol It is either bobbin laces or with silk thread and a long needle made for making lace that my cousin in Inverness scotland, sends me needles when I need them I cannot find that english needle anywhere around here. the only lace is tatting that i don't make I hate making it and hate the way it looks but your little dresses r adorable.

I'm so jealous!! I always wanted a girl so I could sew for her; had two boys. Waited for the granddaughters, got grandsons. Love them to death, but they don't like pink, purple, dolls or dresses!! I love what you made; keep it up. When they outgrow them get them back to save for a scrappy quilt as they go off to college.

I was the same, had 4 sons, first grandchild was a boy, finally got two DGD's who are big tomboys and wouldn't think of wearing a dress. Finally-----got a DGD who is a girly girl. I am having a great time dressing her up!

LisaGibbs 07-08-2011 10:56 AM

I love it. I sure wish that I could sew instead of working everyday.
