That is just unreal, and so beautiful. I so love all the beauty of the quilts that I see here. I will never be able to do all of the different styles, but sure love looking at them. Look forward to seeing the finished quilt.

Like the others, I'm not sure what we are seeing. So I will ask ... Is this one giant butterfly on the full quilt? Or one block within your quilt?

How cool is that, johnny c!!! Was curious...did you do a discharge technique to get the butterfly to show up on your blocks so you could quilt over top of it? I'd be interested in knowing how you did that...thanks and keep on posting your progress.
