Until you feel fairly confident about your quilting, choose a color that blends in. I would use a blue for the border and sashing and then a white for the background calico in the blocks. Echoing and stippling are always a good place to start.

When I don't want the quilting to show a lot or to use just one thread through the whole quilt, I use a shade of grey for blue tones.

The quilt is wonderful. Good luck on the quilting

Thanks Everyone. I'm just feeling overwhelmed on what to do. I think I'm gonna do some stitch in the ditch around blocks and then take another look at it. I definitely want to use thread that will not show up too much.

Love your quilt. You did a wonderful job. I agree with doing some SID on the blocks and maybe just meandering on the borders. Good luck with it. Post it when you finish.
