Now that looks like a good buddy....Mine wants to lay on the fabric as I'm cutting or sewing..and wants to help pull the thread from the spool....he gets in big trouble when he pulls the pins from pin cushion...but for the most part we manage to work together!!!

I have one of those. She drives me crazy. Claims every spot in my sewing room.
