This is the quilt I made for my daughter in love, Alicia, and her husband Shawn. My son, Dru, was her fiance and was killed in a motor vehicle accident while working as a cable installer. His accident was May 12, 2005 and we disconnected life support on May 15, three months before his son Nevan was born, August 21. Shawn is such a wonderful guy. We know Dru picked him to take his place. Our older son can't have kids so this is our only grandchild ever. He is so special. I also enclosed a pic of him and our ADHD Boxers. They are 2 and 2 1/2. This is the first king sized quilt I have done. I have done several baby quilts and wall hangings and twin quilts for Nevan, summer and winter. Thanks for looking. I will post others I have done.

How wonderful to refer to your grandson's mother as your daughter-in-love. As great as your loss, you do have that beautiful angel of a grandson to ease your pain and add joy to your life. The quilt is beautiful as are your fur babies. They look so innocent but we know boxers :-D
