Quiltingboard Forums - My Red, White and Blue Quilt

Beautiful quilt, and sure to be appreciated. My guild has been making quilts for wounded soldiers, and received a letter from one particular serviceman with multiple injuries that had everyone in the room in tears, and motivated to do even more. The quilt never left his side and even after he was able to be at home part-time, the quilt went with him back to the hospital for more treatment. He said he could feel the love and appreciation that went in to making it, and it made him feel better. This will be dearly appreciated by some man or woman, and bring them comfort. It is such a beautiful quilt too. Love the pattern and you did a great job on it.
