This is my second Bow Tucks tote. I used 3" strips leftover from quilts for the upper front, back and to cover the foam board "floor". I went to Joann's yesterday for more fusible Pellon. I forgot my coupn  I also made a big mistake, I forgot to quilt the back outside! Anybody else done this?

Great job!! |
That is really cute!! Great job!! :-D

That's a very cute bag; I think black and white is my favorite color combination ... I've made several of these bags and I never quilt any of them so don't worry about forgetting that part. It turned out beautiful anyway! :)

What?!?! Forget to do something? Never!!! Like getting a bag all together and finding the magnetic closure still sitting on the table? Never!!!!
|
Pretty!

I wouldn worry about not quilting it. I only quilt them if the design of fabric tells me to. :). Never had a prob.
And they are not mistakes, only opportunities to be different and step outside the square, boring, predictable box! LOL |
Oh so sorry, forgot to tell you I simply LOVE your bag! You have inspired me. I'm camping n fishing tonight, but when I get home tomorrow I have the perfect pieces I've been trying to decide what to do with.
THANK YOU!! |
Thanks everyone for the nice comments and encouragement. I just took the purse over to my good friend and quilting buddy as a surprize. She wears B&W uniforms to work and is always hauling a big bag. She loved it.
