This one was with a different material, a bleached muslin by Kona. The first set of FQ's that I did was with a PFD(perfect for dying) that I bought from Dharma Trading.
The first batch was done by putting the material into the cups first and then pouring in the dye solution. This batch was done by putting in the dye solution first and then adding the material. I still didn't get the contrast that I was looking for; it was supposed to be more distinct. Next one to try is a lemon yellow. The very light piece on the left was what I did with the leftover dye, after putting wax on the material and crackling it. [ATTACH=CONFIG]64997[/ATTACH] |

I think the gradation is fabulous! Terrific fabrics. At my LQS, they say the PFD means "preferred for dying"
